Shoshannah Stern is an American actress who has proven that she can fully participate in theatrical projects and work in front of the camera.
She discovered her creative potential when she landed the role of Juliet in the production of "Romeo and Juliet," danced in the project "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp," and played Annabelle West in "Cat and Canary" - all at the California School for the Deaf.

She was born into a caring Jewish family, being the fourth generation of deaf individuals. She grew up in Fremont, California, where she attended the California School for the Deaf alongside her brother Brendan and sister Louise. Stern communicates primarily through American Sign Language, but she is also skilled in lip reading and speaking English without the need for a translator to clarify her words.
She furthered her education at Gallaudet University, the world's only university for the deaf, where she honed her acting skills.
Career
Stern's acting career took off when she appeared as Holly in the ABC series "Threat Matrix." She has also made occasional appearances in the popular comedy series "Scrubs" as the character Megan.
She has acted in other television shows such as "Providence," "ER," and "Cold Case."
