We were honored to be the jewelers for the Carlos Correa engagement ring. Just moments after Carlos Correa, shortstop for the Houston Astros, helped bring his team to victory in the World Series, he crossed another daunting hurdle: popping the question to his girlfriend, Miss Texas USA, Daniella Rodriguez.

Correa was so caught up in the moment that he turned to Rodriguez mid-interview on live TV. Termed the “Carlos Correa Engagement Ring,” Correa purchased the ring at Richard’s Gems and Jewelry. Although Correa wanted to pop the question well before winning the World Series, he held out until the last game of the season—just in case!—and used that time to secure what he knew what be Rodriguez’s dream ring.

During a recent game at the Houston Astro&#;s ballpark, Fernando had the pleasure of meeting Carlos Correa&#;s lovely fiancé, Daniella Rodriguez. The soon-to-be Mrs. Correa was very sweet and grateful for her beautiful ring, which she showed off with pride on her left ring finger.
 

Daniella and Carlos plan to tie the knot this June in downtown Houston surrounded by their closest family and friends.
